Another useful resource for our ESL students- hope it helps!

Link: https://www.perfect-english-grammar.com/

Summary of resource: I have been using this website for over five years now regularly and it’s super useful for students who are practicing grammar, particularly around verb tenses and prepositions.

The explanations and exercises are useful in helping understand differences and nuance between common mistakes such as:

  • Present Simple or Present Continuous?
  • Present Perfect Simple or Continuous?
  • Past Simple or Past Continuous?
  • Past Perfect or Past Simple?

Pros:

  • Well organised and large variety of grammar topics with thoughtful and realistic exercises
  • Free, reliable and easy to use

Cons/ issues to take into consideration:

  • Exercises are limited- between 2 and 10 exercises per topic generally
